2. RESHMA MARURI
Reshma Maruri, presently 17 started playing tennis at the young age of 5 years. This emerging star ranks number one in under-18 and 527 in the world junior ranking. Her best ITF Junior Ranking is 299. She along with her sister, Suhitha Maruri forms a strong double pair. Reshma is a great player and her coach sees great potential in her. 3. VIPASHA MEHRA
Vipasha Mehra started her tennis practice at the age of 8 in Doha, Qatar, where her family was settled during that time. She is the highest-ranked Indian girl in the world junior ranking. Her best ITF Junior Ranking is 134. In 2018, She along with her family returned to India and started playing more passionately. Vipasha wishes to continue her tennis career along with her studies.
4. KRISHAN HOODA
It seems like Tennis searched for a great player rather than Krishan Hooda finding it. Hooda used to practice “Dangal” before he was recognised by Chandigarh Association for Rural Tennis (CHART) at the Sports and Physical Aptitude Test. Now, Krishna finds a deep connection with the racquet and ranks number two in the under-18 category. His best ITF Junior Ranking is 358 and 627 in the world junior ranking.
5. SARAH DEV
This 17-year-old tennis star aims at cracking the top 100 in WTA. Sarah ranks number four in India under-18 category and 390 in the world junior ranking. Her best ITF Junior Ranking is 278. She is extremely motivated and moving ahead constantly. Sportle wishes her for her future endeavours.
6. UDIT GOGOI
Udit Gogoi started playing at the age of 5 years. He belongs to Assam and is a right-handed player. His best-ever ITF Junior Ranking is 117 and ranks 4th in India under-18. 8. SANDEEPTI SINGH RAO
This emerging star ranks 5th in India under-18. Her best ITF Junior Ranking is 332. Sandeepti Singh Rao started early and is making continuous moves, towards her goals for success as a great tennis player.
9. SUSHANT DABAS
Sushant Dabas has won overall 200 trophies including all categories. Dabas belongs to Haryana, India and started playing at the age of 8. His best-ever ITF Junior ranking is 434. Sushant has come a long way, but to emerge as a strong player he needs to cover miles.
10. AKANKSHA NITTURE
Starting at the age of 5, Akanksha Nitture is a great player in India. She ranks 2nd in India under-18. Her full name is Akanksha Dileep Nitture. Her best-ever ITF Junior Ranking is 1141.
